KAMEI automotive GmbH is run independently as a subsidiary of KAMEI GmbH Co. KG. Since 2006, Dirk Schulze, Division Manager KAMEI automotive, has successfully managed the fortunes of the firm, which has already been in existence for over 20 years. Career experience at several first tier suppliers in their engineering and R&D departments as well as at RWE and Sonae Industries make him a highly qualified expert in the area of special solutions.

The parent company has been led since 1999 by Thomas Meier (44). Mr. Uwe Meier-Andrae became member of the firm’s supervisory board. His father Karl Meier founded KAMEI in 1952 in Wolfsburg.

The managing director is grown into the family business from a very early age. Thanks to his studies and technical experiences outside of KAMEI, he has the strategic vision to successfully guide the traditional firm as the third generation into the future.
