A two fold victory for Kamei roof boxes
March 23, 2010
Roof boxes “Made in Germany” enjoy repeated success in the rest of Europe. Britain's leading motor magazine “Auto Express” has named the winner of their 2010 roof box test: It was Kamei's Husky XXL which was awarded “Auto Express – Best Buy 2010”.Furthermore is the same manufacturer's “Corvara 390K DuoLift” that was awarded “Auto Express – Recommended Product 2010”.
Ten high quality roof boxes from different manufacturers were selected and scrutinized under the following aspects: how much luggage can be fitted into the boxes? how easy is it to handle the boxes? how easy to mount and attach? loading the boxes revealed first suprises. The actual transport capacity of the roof boxes did not always coincide with the volume of the box as the form is also greatly responsible for what fits in and what does not. The examiners took ordinary holiday baggage to see if it could fit in the roof boxes. This is where the Kamei Husky XXL convinced the experts, not only because of its spaciousness but also due to its price. The examiners also remarked on the long six-year-warranty and easy handling of this model for storage, the lid can be taken off and fits perfectly into the bottom half which saves a lot of space. In addition it can be reassembled without any extra tools. Husky XXL was thus the only roof box awarded five stars and given the title Best Buy 2010...
“Recommended Product”
Furthermore the second tested Kamei product - Corvara 390K DuoLift achieved recognition above that of the other well known manufacturers. Its clever design, easy montage and convincing safety system qualified Corvara 390K DuoLift for the title "Auto Express - Recommended Product 2010".
