KAMEI wins award for outstanding brand work

KAMEI is the winner of the German Brand Award 2020

KAMEI has won this year's German Brand Award. The company was awarded in the category Excellent Brands - Transport & Mobility. Only brands that stand out through consistent profiling and strong, creative brand management receive this award.

The German Brand Award makes brand successes visible in a unique way. Presented by the German Design Council - the German competence center for brand, innovation and design - and judged by a jury of experts with representatives from business, science and institutions, the German Brand Award honors innovative brands, consistent brand management and sustainable brand communication; personalities and companies that are pioneers in the world of brands. It discovers and presents unique trends - and not only promotes the winners, but also their respective industries.

About German Design Council - the initiator

The German Design Council is an independent and internationally active institution that supports companies in efficiently communicating design and brand competence and at the same time aims to strengthen the general public's understanding of design. Founded in 1953 as a foundation on the initiative of the German Bundestag by the Federation of German Industry and some leading companies, the German Design Council promotes design, brand and innovation through its competitions, exhibitions, conferences, seminars and publications. The circle of founders of the German Design Council currently includes over 320 German and foreign companies. 

About German Brand Institute - the awarding authority

The German Brand Institute Foundation was jointly established by the German Design Council and GMK Markenberatung. Its aim is to strengthen the significance of the brand as a decisive factor for the success of companies in the national and international competitive environment. With the German Brand Award, the foundation presents a unique award for outstanding brand management.
